The Gujarat University Convention & Exhibition Centre (GUCEC), located at the Gujarat University campus near Helmet Circle in Ahmedabad, is one of the largest convention & exhibition centers in Ahmedabad. The large campus area is well-equipped with modern infrastructure suitable for hosting international conferences, trade exhibitions/conventions, corporate events & functions, concerts, banquets/cultural events and large social events/gatherings. Convention Centre / Main Auditorium

The Convention Centre/Main Auditorium is home to one of the largest auditoriums within this region, with approximately 2300 seats. Our auditorium hosts international conferences, conventions, music concerts, theatre performances and corporate events. Finally, our auditorium has a modern architecture that provides excellent sound quality; we have high-quality sound equipment (i.e., speaker systems) along with a large stage that can accommodate all forms of event production.

Exhibition Hall

The GUCEC provides approximately 4,370 square meters (47,000 square feet) of column-free exhibition floor space for trade shows, expos, product launches, and/or large exhibits. In addition to high ceilings, the exhibition hall has several flexible layouts to accommodate various types of exhibit setups. The exhibition hall is also equipped with multiple load-in points and a dedicated loading bay that is outfitted with the necessary power supply infrastructure for heavy equipment, as well as multiple ingress/egress options for exhibitor unloading/setup.

Pre-Convention Hall

A 12,000 sq. ft. pre-function hall that has the capacity for 2,000+ guests, it is typically used to set up registration counters, for networking sessions, for F&B service areas and for pre-event gatherings during conferences and exhibitions.

Conference Halls

Five separate conference halls are available with seating capacities ranging from 80 to 500 guests. The Conference Halls are designed for seminars, corporate meetings, training programs, panel discussions, and workshops, with flexible seating arrangements, central air conditioning, soundproofing, and audiovisual capabilities.

Meraki Banquet Hall

An expansive, multi-functional venue to host weddings, receptions, cultural celebrations, trade shows and corporate events. The Banquet Hall features an area for staging, two separate rooms for the bride and groom, and two green rooms for live performers.

Meraki Garden & Outdoor Areas

The outdoor Garden space is approximately 8,000 sq. meters in size, which is perfect for outdoor wedding functions, outdoor receptions, concerts, festivals and large social functions.

Event Infrastructure & Amenities

The GUCEC offers a comfortable, climate-controlled environment; modern technical support, including audio/visual features; and multiple locations to accommodate exhibitors' needs.
