The AU Convention Centre is a large event/convention center on Beach Road in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, at the Andhra University campus. The facility opened in 2017. It was opened by the Vice President of India and provides a contemporary facility for the purpose of hosting academic conferences, seminars, conventions, cultural programs, corporate events and large public gatherings.

There is a large auditorium with stages and other outside spaces on the site that are suitable for business and leisure activities.

Main Convention Auditorium

The center includes a huge auditorium with a seating capacity of approximately 2000 guests, which is suitable for all types of International conferences, university convocations, corporate events, cultural arts performances, seminar events and large conventions. In addition, the hall provides a large stage area, a theater-style seating arrangement and modern acoustic designs to support presentations and performances. 

Convention & Event Hall Space

The venue provides approximately 40,000 sq. ft. of built-up convention space, allowing organizers to host large-scale gatherings, exhibitions, and institutional programs. The flexible indoor layout supports conferences, exhibitions, product launches, and academic events. 

Stage & Presentation Infrastructure

The convention center is designed with advanced audio systems, presentation facilities, and a large performance stage, making it suitable for keynote sessions, seminars, and cultural performances. 

Outdoor Lawns & Event Areas

The Venue is inclusive of many outdoor open spaces, landscaped gardens, and terraces to be used for receptions, networking events, exhibitions and social gatherings in conjunction with conventions and conferences.

With great access to the center via Beach Road, Visakhapatnam, the venue will provide ample on-site parking and will have exceptional access to all local destinations.

The venue is also close to attractions such as the Aircraft Museum and Submarine Museum, making it easily accessible for large events.
