Zuheb Ahmed Khan, known for his talents as a tabla player and exceptional live performer, is highly regarded for his commanding stage presence, high level of technical facility, and precise use of rhythm. Although he began pursuing a career in music at a remarkably young age (3 years old), Zuheb has fulfilled his dream and continues to pursue his love for Indian classical music. He received his training from the Ajrada gharana school of tabla and combines the elements of the expressive style of performance, complex layakari, and rigorous technical training that define the traditions of the gharana with the unique qualities that make his performances so compelling.

The performance ability of Zuheb Ahmed Khan, who is also a Gold Medal Winner from 2010 as well as a Sangeet Prabhakar, has garnered recognition for both his creative and intellectual skills. The quality of his playing balances audience interaction with classical music's harmonic atmosphere to draw an equal amount of engagement from listeners both in traditional concert venues and newer forms of live performance.
