Radhika Apte, an Indian actress noted for great performances in Hindi and Marathi, Tamil and Telugu, and even Bengali films, comes from September 7th, 1985, in Pune, Maharashtra. She caught the bait of acting at a very young age and went on further studies by attending Fergusson College in Pune while later completing her training on acting through the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art.

She made her film debut in 2005 with the Hindi film Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! but came into prominence through her roles in films like Shor in the City (2010) and Badlapur (2015), where she showed her versatility as an actress. Her performances as complex characters soon earned her critical acclaim.
