NUCLEYA, born as Udyan Sagar on the 7th of December, 1979, in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, is India's foremost electronic music artist. His family relocated to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, when Udyan was merely three years old, and his musical journey soon took off after that. Ever since, over the years, Nucleya has reinvented the way India perceives EDM, experimenting with desi styles and bass-hungry beats, giving India its very first signature sound for the genre.
His breakout came with the album "Bass Rani" (2015) and the revolutionary EP "Koocha Monster" (2013). He quickly built a cult following for blending Indian street beats, Bollywood sampling, and world bass music and thus becoming one of the founding fathers of Indian EDM.
NUCLEYA's success has been rewarded with numerous awards, including a Global Indian Music Award (GIMA) in 2016. He has also received nominations for the Mirchi Music Awards, Filmfare Awards, and MTV Europe Music Awards, further solidifying his position as a global music icon.
