The Nizami Brothers are a celebrated Sufi Qawwali band from India, famous for their energetic and soul-touching performances. They come from a rich tradition of musicians, being the direct heirs of legendary Qawwal Samrat Taan Samrat and Miyan Chand Nizami, taking forward a legacy that has been maintained for more than 700 years. Their music has a strong Sufi base, propagating messages of love, devotion, and spirituality through enchanting compositions.
The ensemble, directed by Ustad Chand Nizami and Shadab Faridi Nizami, has become well known for their performances at large cultural and spiritual festivals throughout India and overseas.
