Ravi Tripathi is an Indian playback singer, music composer, and live performer known for his versatile voice and strong presence in the Indian music and entertainment industry. He gained national recognition after participating as a finalist in the popular television reality show Indian Idol (Season 2) in 2006.
Born in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Ravi Tripathi developed a passion for music at an early age and later pursued professional training in Indian classical music. His talent and dedication helped him establish a career in playback singing, live concerts, and music composition.
He made his Bollywood playback debut with the song “India Se Aaya Tera Dost” from the film Chandni Chowk to China, starring Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone.
Ravi Tripathi has also sung songs and title tracks for several television shows and devotional albums. Over the years, he has recorded more than 1600 songs including private albums, jingles, devotional music, and TV serial tracks.
A major milestone in his career came when he was invited to perform at the closing ceremony of the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China, where he represented India as a guest performer.
Apart from playback singing, Ravi Tripathi is also a music director and television host. He hosted the music reality show “Close-Up Performer” on Doordarshan and has performed in over 1600 stage shows across India and internationally.
With his powerful vocals, classical background, and engaging live performances, Ravi Tripathi continues to be a popular choice for concerts, cultural events, and corporate entertainment shows.
