About Your Chin
Your Chin is a solo indie-pop venture of Mumbai artist Raxit Tewari, who is also the lead vocalist of the electro-rock band Sky Rabbit, previously Medusa. With Your Chin, Tewari ventures into a distinctive fusion of textures with layered beats, synths, and guitars, topped with his relaxed vocals, to produce a sound that blends post-rock and electro-pop elements.
His songs are marked by a fascinating combination of introspection and melancholy, with infectious beats supporting city, poetic rhymes that present thoughtful depth. This unique approach has made him stand out in the Indian independent music scene.
Following a temporary hiatus, Your Chin returned in impressive form with Horticulturist, which brought his listeners back to his electro-pop sound. This single is evidence of his skill in creating heavily textured beats and ethereal lyrics, producing a multi-faceted sound that is distinct from anyone else's.
Tewari's project, Your Chin, is evidence of his diversity and dedication to expanding the boundaries of music, combining classic elements of rock with electronic music to provide a new and interesting listening experience.
