Vadda Grewal, born Gurinderpal Singh Grewal on January 6, 1991, in Kammo Majra Kalan, Sangrur, Punjab, is an Indian Punjabi singer, lyricist, and actor. He developed an interest in music during his school years, participating in various singing competitions. His nickname, "Vadda," was given by his mathematics teacher during his eighth grade.
He completed his schooling from Holy Heart Senior Secondary Convent School and graduated from Punjabi University, Patiala. In 2014, Vadda Grewal started his musical journey with the song "Rooh," which was released by Panj-aab Records. He gained major recognition with the 2016 hit "Nagni," featuring Deepak Dhillon, which reached millions of views on YouTube. Other notable tracks include "Ford Jatt Da," "Desi Da Current," "Yaar Da Viah," "Saadi Gaddi," and "Pistol."
Apart from singing, Vadda Grewal has acted in a number of Punjabi videos, including "Vadda Bai" by Sharry Mann, "Dharti" by Jass Bajwa, and "Peg Pugg" by Deep Karan. He furthered his creative interests in acting, with a role in the 2018 web series "Gangland in Motherland" as the character Jaggi. His acting experience ranges from the 2019 film "Nikka Zaildar 3," through the 2021 film "Kaka Pardhan," to the 2022 film "Posti.".
