Toshi Sabri is a versatile Indian playback singer and composer whose powerful voice renders him a gem in the arena of Bollywood, Sufi, and pop music. A native of Rajasthan, Toshi was born into a musical family; his father, being a maestro of classical music, greatly influenced Toshi. He learned Indian classical music with great rigor, upon which his entire artistry rests.
Toshi first gained national recognition as a finalist on the singing reality show "Amul STAR Voice of India" in 2007, where he impressed audiences with his unique voice and heartfelt performances. His ability to infuse raw emotion into his singing quickly earned him a devoted fan base and opened the doors to the Bollywood music industry.
He made his playback singing debut with the song "Maahi" from the 2009 film Raaz: The Mystery Continues, which became an instant hit and established him as a prominent voice in Bollywood. Known for his soulful renditions and emotive singing, Toshi has delivered several chart-topping songs, including "Tera Saath Ho" (Jashnn), "Piya O Re Piya" (Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya), and "Kabhi Jo Baadal Barse" (Jackpot).
Usually, Toshi collaborates with his brother, Sharib Sabri, a great composer and singer. The brothers composed music for Bollywood movies like Jashnn, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, and Raaz: Reboot. Their work contains a lovely mixture of traditional melodies and sounds of contemporary music.
