Sriti Jha is a popular Indian television actress known for her powerful performances and strong screen presence. Born on 26 February 1986 in Begusarai, Bihar, and raised in Kolkata and Kathmandu, Sriti completed her education in English at Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi. She was actively involved in theater during her college days, which helped her develop her acting skills. Sriti began her television career with the youth show Dhoom Machaao Dhoom. She later appeared in several TV serials, including Jyoti and Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava?, where her performances were appreciated for their emotional intensity. However, she gained nationwide fame with the Zee TV show Kumkum Bhagya, in which she played the lead role of Pragya Arora (later Pragya Mehra).
