Soundarya Sharma is an Indian actress and model known for her work in Hindi films and digital platforms. Born on September 20, 1994, in New Delhi, she began her academic journey studying dentistry but soon realized her true passion lay in acting. She trained intensively in the performing arts, studying Indian classical music and acting at esteemed schools like the National School of Drama, ACT 1 Theatre Group, Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, and the New York Film Academy.
Her first film appearance was in "Meeruthiya Gangsters" (2015), but her breakthrough came when she was cast as Gudiya in the movie "Ranchi Diaries" (2017), produced by Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher. Her acting in the movie earned her the Best Debutante Award at the Jharkhand International Film Festival. She further established her career with parts in other web series such as "Raktanchal 2," "Country Mafia," and "Karm Yuddh" in 2022, demonstrating her range as an actress.
Soundarya appeared in 2022's popular reality TV show "Bigg Boss 16" and reached the Top 10 and got eliminated on Day 112. She appeared in a variety of music videos like "Garmi Mein Chill," "Bomb Hai," and "Khoobsurat," which earned her fame with the youth too. In the future, she will be a part of an upcoming comedy film, "Housefull 5," releasing in June 2025.
