About Shreya Jain

Shreya Jain is an Indian singer-songwriter and music producer with a unique fusion of Hindustani classical music and contemporary sounds. Raised in Nagpur, Maharashtra, she started singing at the age of five under the influence of her father, who was a classical vocalist. The classical training she received early on contributed to the diversity of her voice and her profound musical understanding.

Following her graduation in interior design, Shreya made the decision to pursue her passion and relocate to Mumbai to work as a professional musician. She was given her breakthrough when she provided voices for three of the songs used in the Bollywood movie "Attack," which featured John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Rakul Preet Singh. This was an initial introduction of her talent in front of a broader public and created opportunities for other jobs within the industry.

In 2024, Shreya dropped her first EP called "Bawari," a musical endeavor that features her capability of blending classical Indian melodies with modern production. The EP showcases her evolution as an artist, exploring new sounds while remaining true to her classical influences. The tracks in the EP have been appreciated for their musicality and emotional depth and established her as a budding star in the global independent music scene.

Shreya is also an energetic live performer, having given performances at more than 500 concerts all over India and abroad, including a performance at Wembley Stadium in London that she remembers vividly. She remains close to her audience on social media, where she posts glimpses of her life, music compositions, and what goes on behind the scenes.
