In reality television, Shilpa became a household name as a participant on "The Voice of India Season 2," and her performances stole the show with both the judges and audience alike, including noted artists such as Salim Merchant, Shaan, Benny Dayal, and Neeti Mohan. The exposure further entrenched her in the Indian music market.
Shilpa's playback singing credits include Bollywood movies like "Murari-The Mad Gentleman," "Game Over," and the international movie "Mirror Game." Her voice has also been used for title songs of successful web series like "Twilight," "Hadh," and "Maaya-2" by Vikram Bhatt. Her original song "Sona Nahi" earned her recognition and was played on the series "Music Mojo."
Showing devotion to her origins, Shilpa has released a new single, "Bani Thani," a Himachali folk tune, which has been welcomed by the public and appreciated by the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
