About Sheetal Devi
Sheetal Devi is a fitness-seeking Indian para-athlete, who, through her judo career, has been keeping everyone in the headlines. Born physically challenged, she harnessed all the strength to become the first wheelchair judoka in the country. Sheetal never liked sitting at home and was always eager to join any games or activities carried on around her. Her journey in judo started when she discovered her passion for the sport, which developed not only her physical resilience but also her confidence.
Because of her passion for the sport, she has participated in many domestic and international competitions and thus earned significant accruals. In 2022, she became known more widely than ever before at the Asian Para Games, where she showed her true potential and resolve after winning a gold medal.
Apart from excellent athletic achievements, Sheetal is most vocal about advocacy for the disabled. People like her use their platform to ensure sports are accessible and propel a lot of people who should not give up on their passions in life. The little about Sheetal's story calls for high-caliber inspiration for many people within the disabled community and even others.
