About Rohit khandelwal
Rohit Khandelwal is an Indian model, actor, and fitness enthusiast who created history by becoming the first Indian and Asian to win the prestigious Mr. World title in 2016. Rohit was born on August 19, 1989, in Hyderabad, Telangana. Rohit's journey from a regular corporate employee to an international male pageant winner is truly inspiring.
Early Life & Education
Rohit was born into a middle-class family in Hyderabad and completed his education at Aurora Degree College. He worked as a technical support assistant at Dell and later as a marketing executive at SpiceJet before entering the entertainment industry. His passion for modeling and fitness made him take up a different path.
Career Breakthrough & Mr. World Title
Initially, Rohit was known because of his appearances in a jewelry advertisement with Kareena Kapoor, and after that, he got to model professionally. In 2015, he won Mr. India. With this, he became an outright contender to the Mr. World competition.
In 2016, Rohit represented India at the Mr. World pageant in Southport, England, where he competed against 46 contestants from different countries. His charm, confidence, fitness, and intelligence helped him win the title, making him the first-ever Indian to achieve this feat. Along with the title, he also won a cash prize of $50,000.
Acting & Modeling Career
Post his Mr. World win, many opportunities came flooding into the entertainment world of Rohit. He walked for top designers, advertised on commercials, and was involved in multiple modeling projects.
He also guest appeared on various television shows and went scoping opportunities for Bollywood as well as digital platforms. His supermodel transformation has earned him a great deal of popularity among those aspiring to be models and aspiring fitness enthusiasts.
