A contemporary Sitar maestro, Purbayan Chatterjee, is an innovative figure who leads the presentation of Indian instrumental music in the global arena. Famous for his innovation, he designed the DWO and SEETAR—the electric counterparts of the traditional sitar and, for that matter, the first-ever see-through sitar.
