About Moulik Band

Moulik Rathod is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and has built a huge niche for himself within the Indian as well as the international music platform. During the last decade, he has been a part of more than 1,400 music shows in the world and has thus marked his uniqueness.

He took initial rigorous training in classical music by Vikas Parikh, which gave him a great base of old traditions. He later spent a year at the elite KM Music Conservatory under AR Rahman, studying contemporary songs and learning how to perfectly blend modern and classical sounds. This education was central to creating his actual artistic identity.

Most of Moulik's collection is composed of cover songs from popular Bollywood tracks. He has been a favorite among audiences for his fresh arrangements of the same songs. His most famous work was when he covered the song Kesariya from the film Brahmastra, which became viral on Instagram and got over 2.3 million views after being shared by actress Alia Bhatt. This success catapulted him to greater recognition, cementing his place as a prominent artist.

Moulik's live performances range from intimate acoustic sessions to large-scale music festivals, where his commanding stage presence and soulful voice leave audiences mesmerized.
