About Gurnam Bhullar
Gurnam Bhullar is a well-known Indian singer, actor, and lyricist of Punjabi-language music and film. Born on 8th February 1995 in Kamal Wala village, Tehsil Fazilka, District Ferozepur, Punjab, India, Bhullar has established himself as an important part of the Punjabi film industry.
Bhullar was exposed to music at a young age and went on to study a Bachelor of Arts in Music, which formed the basis of his career in the entertainment sector. His musical career started with his involvement in singing competitions, where he slowly perfected his craft and gained popularity. He gained fame by winning Season 5 of "Awaz Punjab Di," a well-known Punjabi singing reality show, which established him as a dedicated fan base.
In 2014, Bhullar came out with his debut album, "Heer Jehiya Kurian," which marked the beginning of his career in Punjabi music. But it was his 2018 track "Diamond" that made him a household name. The track went viral with millions of views on different platforms and established him as one of the foremost voices in Punjabi music. After the success of "Diamond," Bhullar went on to enthrall fans with blockbuster hits such as "Phone Maar Di," "Pagal," and "Fakira," demonstrating his flair for fusing soulful voices with infectious, relatable rhymes.
Bhullar then moved to acting, debuting in 2019 with "Guddiyan Patole" opposite Sonam Bajwa. The film was well received, and his performance was well appreciated for its charm and honesty. He went on to appear in films such as "Surkhi Bindi" and "Vilayti Yantra," establishing himself as a versatile and talented actor. His screen presence and natural charm made him an in-demand name in Punjabi cinema within no time.
In November 2023, Bhullar wed Balpreet Kaur, a physician, in a nuptial ceremony that was affectionately welcomed by fans and the press. Even with his increasing popularity, he is down-to-earth and serious about his work, juggling his music and film career with elegance and devotion.
