Fatima Sana Shaikh is an Indian actress who has acquired a wide level of popularity for her work in the Bollywood film industry. Fatima was born on 11 January 1992 in Hyderabad, India, and comes from a family with a background in the entertainment industry. She started her acting career at a young age, making her debut in the film Chachi 420 (1997), playing the role of a young girl. However, she gained prominence much later with her performance in *Dangal* (2016), a film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. In Dangal, Fatima portrayed the role of Geeta Phogat, a wrestler who overcame societal challenges to become India's first female wrestler to win a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games. Her remarkable transformation for the role, including rigorous physical training, won her widespread acclaim and made her a household name.
