Dr. Vijay Kapoor holds a significant position within the Indian music industry as he was named an All India Radio (AIR) "Top" Grade Artist for English vocal performance and also received an award from the Sangeet Natak Akademi. He has been provided extensive training and experience in many different Indian classical music traditions, indicating discipline, lifelong dedication, and authenticity in terms of his performances along with strong technical due to his background.

Dr. Kapoor is known for his deep, rich voice and unique style of singing. He specializes in light classical music, bhajans and ghazals. Most importantly, he brings together elements from both the classical and expressive genres, and he does this in a way that creates a total experience for listeners; connoisseurs and lay people alike, through his performances.
