About Dhanda Nyoliwala
This is the note of an artist growing in the Haryanvi music industry, that is Dhanda Nyoliwala, whose original name is Parveen Dhanda, was born in 1998 in Neoli Kalan village of Hisar, Haryana. His first track "Afgan" was just the start for him in the Haryanvi music scene, but "Up To U," a hit song in 2022, truly set him on the limelight. It spread like wildfire, garnering over 75 million views on YouTube and earning him great acclaim in the world among regional rap lovers. The song's concept of the beat came during a beauty drive from Sydney to Brisbane, and the track line was heavily influenced by some lines of Jaun Elia's poetry, making it a fine example of Dhanda's lyricism.
In 2023, Dhanda went on a rampage with intense songs like "No Mercy" and "Unstoppable." He featured heavily alongside Raftaar on the Indian Hip-Hop number known as "Chora Baba Ka," which helped to further his popularity. In 2024, he released a confident, brave anthem titled "Ego Killer," which further entrenched him in the growing Haryanvi rap scene. Notably, Dhanda is the first Haryanvi artist to work with English artists, which showcases his intention to create a bridge between regional music and a global market.
