Deedar Kaur is a very talented playback singer from India. She primarily represented Punjabi and Hindi music. Born in Panipat, Haryana, she has learned music since childhood. Gurbani recitation was introduced under her father. Early introduction to spiritual singing had helped her lay down the proper foundation for the classical sounds, which have further helped her follow such diverse singings.

Her early success came from her association with her elder sister, Asees Kaur, in devotional songs.
