About Benny Dayal

Benny Dayal is a renowned Indian playback singer with a vibrant voice and skill to sing across genres and languages. Born on May 13, 1984, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Benny has his roots from a Malayali family belonging to Kollam, Kerala. He spent his childhood in Abu Dhabi, where he studied at the Abu Dhabi Indian School and later completed his degree from Madras Christian College in Chennai. Throughout his university years, he played an active role in music contests, which sparked his love for singing and laid the foundation for a music career. His breakthrough occurred when he formed part of the band S5, started by SS Music. At the same time, he was noticed by legendary music director A. R. Rahman, who gave him chances to sing for films. The collaboration paved the way for Benny, and he went on to have a successful career in playback singing.

Benny has sung in more than 19 Indian languages and has a repertoire of over 3500 songs. His versatility is evident from chartbusters such as "Pappu Can't Dance" from Jaane Tu.
