Anushka Banerjee is an accomplished Indian playback singer, composer, and YouTuber with a melodious voice and lively performances. Born on March 23, 2000, in Kolkata, West Bengal, she has been influenced by music since childhood. She received her basic education at Carmel High School in Kolkata and later studied biotechnology at Chandigarh University.
Anushka's musical journey began in 2013 when she participated in Zee Bangla's 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs,' marking her debut on a prominent platform. She continued to showcase her talent in various competitions, including 'Suron Ka Eklavya' on StarPlus and DD One. In 2018, she gained national recognition by participating in Zee TV's 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa,' judged by Wajid Khan, Shekhar Ravjiani, and Sona Mohapatra.
Her achievements include victory in the 93.5 Red FM 'College Ke Tashanbaaz' competition and first prize in the classical music section of Chandigarh University's 'Pratibha' contest. In 2020, Anushka also established herself in the Indian music scene by joining the 12th season of 'Indian Idol,' in which her performances were well-received.
Outside of reality television, Anushka has contributed voice to devotional tracks, like 'Hey Krishna' released on YouTube in 2022. She is an active participant on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook, where she posts about her music and interacts with fans.
