Her exposure to music at a tender age sparked within her a profound passion for singing, which naturally turned toward ghazals at first. By the age of fifteen, Anita had officially embarked upon music classes with the respected Pandit Kshirsagar belonging to the prestigious school of Gwalior gharana. Her academic record encompasses a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.

During the course of her long and successful career, Anita Singhvi has launched a number of highly respected albums, beginning with her first one, "Naqsh-e-Noor." Her musical records also include works like "Shame-e-Ghazal," "Sada-e-Sufi," "Zah-e-Naseeb," "Bhakti Sufi Devotion," and "Tajalli."
