She hails from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, and comes from a musically trained Marwadi family. She made history in 2024 as the first-ever Indian female musician to feature the traditional Puneri Dhol as part of her live performances at her US-Canada tour. Singing and balancing a 26-kilogram dhol, she fascinated crowds in such cities as Houston, Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, Savannah, Edison, and Boston. It was a very special act of her love for rhythm and percussion instruments, something that made her stand out from the rest of the music scene.
In addition to stage performances, Purva has also appeared as a contestant on Indian Idol and was a close runner-up in the Closeup Websinger competition. She has studied at Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares school, indicating her dedication to diversifying her acting skills.
