About Paras Jetly

Paras Jetly is a talented Indian singer and classical singer from Chandigarh, Punjab. Born in a culturally sensitized household, with his father being a theater artist and mother a music artist, Paras was exposed to the arts from a very young age.  Such a strong foundation allowed him to develop a deep passion for music.

Starting his musical journey at 15 years old, Paras committed himself to serious training in classical music.  His hard work and potential propelled him to pursue higher studies in the discipline, earning a Master of Arts in Music from Punjabi University between 2010 and 2014.  His academic accolades are also reflected in his being a national gold medalist, which underscores his virtuosity in classical vocal performance.

Apart from his scholarly interests, Paras is the founder and frontman of the band "Fariyaad The Fusion." This collective band is famous for its creative fusion of styles, smoothly blending Sufi rock, Bollywood, Indo rock, retro, and classical music.  The band's versatility and originality have established them as a leading force in Chandigarh's flourishing music scene.

Paras's musical talent came into national limelight through his stint in the second season of "The Voice India" in 2016.  As a part of Benny Dayal's team, he was able to demonstrate his vocal range and stage presence, winning praise from the judges and viewers alike.  His performances on the program also established him firmly as a talented and energetic singer.

Apart from his TV shows, Paras boasts a long list of performance credentials, having performed on stages in different Indian states like Chandigarh, Delhi, Mumbai, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh.  His association with renowned brands like Yamaha, 100 Pipers, HC, Bharat Petroleum, Mercedes Benz, and Audi speaks volumes about his popularity across different audiences and his versatility to fit into different musical environments.
