Formed in 2003, Oxygen is a world-fusion music band from Chennai, known for its unique blend of live music with global and Indian genres. The band seamlessly incorporates elements of Carnatic, Hindustani, Indian Folk, Jazz, Irish, Funk, Arabic, Oriental, Latin, Synth, Rock, Symphonic, and Pop music into their compositions.
With more than 40 tracks composed, Oxygen has released four acclaimed music albums. One of the special highlights in their journey is the production and release of a single by the Oscar-winning maestro A.R. Rahman. The band's innovative style and diverse repertoire have earned them recognition as pioneers in live music conceptualization and fusion artistry.
