About Himalayan Routes

Himalayan Routes is a folk and fusion band that originated in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, Himalayan Routes in March 2012 and is currently based in Delhi. Smooth and soulful, somehow able to tenderly woo audiences with the much acclaimed Himachali folk-Sufi music.

They made their musical entry with an awesome performance in Rock Invasion Fest, which was nicked to be very good. Since then, they have kept evolving and becoming even more recognizable with their eclectic sound, which is perfect for fusing traditional folk with contemporary fusion elements.

Himalayan Routes has collected an extremely proficient lineup band in it: Chiragj beating out drums; Mannu Arya: backing vocalist and lead guitarist; Alex Mon: flute; Lockender Verma: lead singer and bass guitarist. They join together to create a wonderful experience for audiences through their combined expertise and passion for the art.

Over the years, the band has been performing at all kinds of events in different cities of India.
