DJ Karma began her musical journey in Indore and moved to Mumbai in 2013 to pursue more opportunities as a DJ. Initially, she struggled to get support from her family, who were hesitant to accept her profession due to her Marwadi background. However, with hard work and dedication, she eventually won her parents’ approval and made a name for herself as a DJ.
DJ Karma started out as a resident DJ in Mumbai at Arola – JW Marriott, Juhu and received positive feedback for her style and performances. This led to more opportunities as a freelance DJ, and she has since performed at events across the nation and in countries such as the Philippines, Doha, Qatar, Dubai, and Bahrain. She has also played alongside well-known artists such as Raftaar and Farhan Akhtar.
In addition to DJing, DJ Karma has also learned to play the Darbuka, a Middle Eastern percussion instrument, to add an extra element to her performances. She aspires to inspire people through her work and wants to continue growing as a performer and a person, making her audience happy. DJ Karma believes that with focus and determination, anyone can achieve their goals and follow their dreams.
