About Ajay Atul

Ajay-Atul, the celebrated Indian music composer duo comprised of brothers Ajay Ashok Gogavale and Atul Ashok Gogavale. With their exceptional music compositions and tracks, they have carved a niche in the Bollywood film industry.

Their music career took off with the non-film album “Vishwavinayaka,” which brought them mainstream recognition. However, it was their work on the film "Jogwa" in 2009 that earned them the prestigious National Film Award for Best Music Direction.

Since then, the duo has worked on a plethora of projects, including commercials, ballets, and advertisements. Their filmography boasts an impressive list of Bollywood movies, including Tanhaji, Panipat, Super 30, Zero, PK, Agneepath, Singham, Sairat, and Ved. Their outstanding work in Agneepath and Sairat earned them the 'Composer of the Decade' award at the Mirchi Music Awards 2021.

Ajay-Atul's unique fusion of folk forms with western instrumentation and pulsating rhythms has breathed new life into traditional music styles. Their soundtrack, "Tharki Chokro" from PK, was a game-changer with its bold mix of lyrics and Rajasthani folk elements.

One of their most iconic songs, "Zingaat" from Sairat, was the first Marathi song to gain worldwide recognition. They made history by becoming the first Indian music directors to record their music at Sony scoring studios in Hollywood. Additionally, they were the first Indian music director duo to perform at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London.
